David is a highly experienced Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety manager. Before joining Ascentor in 2009, David worked for 20 years in the construction and mining industry where he implemented and maintained quality, environmental and health and safety management systems for a number of the leading companies in those sectors including Alfred McAlpine, Freyssinet, Edmund Nuttall, Tarmac and Wrekin Construction.
Utilising his strong practical experience, David has worked with a range of companies in the construction, manufacturing, software, consultancy, IT, testing and waste management industries. He has also provided technical expert support for a certification body.
David is a qualified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001, and is an experienced practitioner in implementing systems that comply with ISO 13485 and Highways Agency Sector Schemes. He works mainly with clients in the North West (Blackpool, Carlisle, Chester, Crewe, Ellesmere Port, Lancaster, Liverpool, Preston, Wigan), North and Mid Wales areas (Aberystwyth, Anglesey, Bangor, Chester, Colwyn Bay, Porthmadog, Wrexham), Northern Ireland (Belfast, Derry, Enniskillen, Lisburn, Newry) and the Isle of Man.
