Equas helps companies to develop, implement and maintain effective management systems. It specialises in building new systems and enhancing existing ones to enable its customers to achieve certification to ISO and other internationally recognised standards.

“We have helped a number of companies to achieve compliance with AS9100, the aerospace-specific version of ISO 9001, and have worked with various companies involved in the aerospace, defence and security market to improve their processes” said Steve. “We are already one of the largest providers of Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety and Information Security Management systems support in the UK. We believe that ADS membership will help us to increase our business in this particular market”.

In addition to providing consultancy support for implementing new systems, Equas offers an intuitive software tool, the Activ, that enhances the effectiveness and reduces the maintenance cost of existing, established systems. “Activ has been designed to facilitate low-cost compliance with ISO and AS standards” said Steve. “It contains automated workflows to manage the standards’ mandatory ISO processes and is flexible enough to allow the import of, or integration with, an existing traditional management system. Activ is the market leading product in terms of usability, features and cost, and our customers find it to be a highly valuable business tool for overcoming the quality and risk management challenges that companies have to deal with in the ADS market”.
