M7 Managed Services combines managed services, technical capability around IBM infrastructure and financing to meet organisations’ IT requirements in innovative and cost-effective ways.
M7 is proud to announce its UKAS-accredited certification to the internationally recognised Quality Management and Environmental Management standards – ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004. M7 achieved this as a result of undertaking a project with Mark Pendleton of Equas, using the ISO in a Box™ system as the basic framework for the Management System.
The ISO 9001:2008 standard is only awarded to companies that can evidence effective and documented processes for communicating with customers regarding product information, enquiries, contracts, orders, feedback and complaints, and that have in place a framework for the regular review of such processes.
Along with ISO 9001:2008, M7 has also been awarded the ISO 14001:2004 standard, illustrating ongoing commitment to corporate environmental responsibility. Certification to the ISO 14001:2004 standard signifies that a company is minimising its operation’s negative impact on the environment and complies with relevant environmental legislations and requirements.
These ISO certifications underpin the M7 business, demonstrating the strong corporate belief in quality and ensuring that both internal and customer facing processes are aligned, as well as ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility.
Tony Over, Operations Director, M7 comments, “M7 views these two initial certifications as a solid foundation for future ISO awards – ISO 27001 Information Security Management and ISO 22301 Business Continuity. These certifications differentiate us from other IT services providers and show continued dedication to achieving the standards. We are now in a strong position to achieve the further two certifications in 2014 and look forward to adding them to our portfolio in the New Year.”
