Westminster Aviation Security Services Ltd gains ISO 9001:2008

Westminster Aviation Security Services Ltd. (WASS), part of the managed services division of the Westminster Group Plc., is proud to announce that it has gained ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Certification for its Aviation Security Services at Freetown International Airport (FNA) in Sierra Leone.

Commenting on the achievement Peter Fowler, Chief Executive of Westminster Group, said:

“On taking over security operations at FNA we committed to instigating a formal Quality Assurance programme covering all our operations at the airport and we engaged leading British QA consultants, Equas Ltd, to assist in the implementation process, which included several visits to the Sierra Leone.

I am now delighted to announce that WASS have achieved ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Certification of our complex operations in such sort time and this is a testament to the hard work and professionalism of the WASS management team based in Sierra Leone.

Our operation was independently inspected and assessed by leading Quality Assurance registration/certification bodies, ACS Registrars, on 23rd November 2013 and we were duly awarded our certificate of ISO 9001Quality Assurance on 11th December 2013.”
